Bio
In the spring of 2007, Patrick Davy went to LA to record a demo with Don Boyette and Scooter Weintraub. They were so amazed by the first two tracks - they immediately decided to make a full record.
For months Patrick wrote songs in a warehouse rehearsal space, while furthering his love affair with the electric guitar. He also spent a lot of time with literature and music, namely the work of: Pink Floyd, Radiohead, George Harrison, the Edge, Robert Johnson, JJ Cale, Bob Dylan, Leonard Cohen, Tim Buckley, Neil Young, and Tom Petty; writers William Faulkner, Edgar Allen Poe, Jim Daniels, Breece D'J Pancake, Italo Calvino and Milan Kundera.
Don, Scooter and Patrick have been able to give each song plenty of time and attention without any aesthetic sacrifice. They worked to maintain the integrity and intimacy of Patrick's songs, colored by the sonics of the guitar and the sexuality of the groove.
