Since their inception, Brooklyn's Wakey!Wakey! has found a perfect balance between crowd-pleasing pop and art-damaged indie rock. Their self-written 2010 release, Everything I Wish I'd Said the Last Time I Saw You has sold over 45,000 copies to date all without a major label or a radio single, and debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard's Heatseekers Chart - one of the ultimate badges of success for an independent artist. Their music has been heard in commercials for Apple and Honda, and most notably as an integral part of the hit series One Tree Hill - in which singer Michael Grubbs appeared in a recurring role until the series conclusion in 2011. W!W! is currently in the studio recording their highly anticipated next album, set for release in early 2013.
