Steve Morales

For 15 years now, Brooklyn native, Steve “Rokstar”  Morales has maintained longevity in the very competitive music industry, by not just crafting hit records, but making his songs so diverse, it’s impossible to earmark or classify him.   

 

Lately, Morales has added a heavy roster of hip-hop mainstays such as Fat Joe, T.I., Young Jeezy, Lil’ Wayne and Fabolous along with A-List stars from a myriad of other genres including Ne-Yo, Josh Grobin and Ciara. All this, compiled to Morales’ already incomparable catalog of tracks under his belt for the likes of Christina Aguilera, Dru Hill, Ricky Martin, and Celine Dion.

 

“The music I do is apart of different times, eras in my life,” the 32 year-old explains.

“My sound is the sound that’s gonna make the song a hit on the radio. I wouldn’t say I have a definitive sound right now because I cater to so many different artists. It’s hard to just stay hip-hop or R&B when  I have somebody like Enrique Iglesias around the corner. I try to stay open and not have a particular sound. My sound is more across the board. I can do Celine Dion then flip it right away and do Jeezy and T.I.”
