Dominic Kelly
Dominic Kelly is an accomplished composer and songwriter. Having had approximately 170 tracks used on the hit show NCIS over the past five seasons, his unique fusion of electronic, rock, and gothic compositions have come to be an integral part of Abby’s lab scenes (the gothic forensic character). Dominic recently scored the film “The Lather Effect” (Showtime) - starring Ione Skye, Eric Stoltz. Dominic was also co-composer for the feature documentary “Full Tilt Boogie” which chronicled the making of the Tarantino/Rodreguez horror film “From Dusk Till Dawn.”
As well as being a score composer, Dominic is also a very experienced and extremely prolific songwriter. Dominic began writing songs when he first learned to play the guitar at age fourteen. He explains, “As soon as I learned my first three chords I started writing songs, I just naturally gravitated toward the writing side of music.” Dominic’s lyrics are deep and insightful, his music and melodies are memorable and unique. Dominic studied jazz music at Berklee College of Music, and received a BA in classical music from Loyola Marymount University.
